“. . . don’t hide the treasure that all of you have.”
The late Pope Francis (1936-2025) believed that everyone possesses a treasure chest, though it isn’t always easy to find. “If we share it with others, the treasure will multiply—along with the treasures that come from others.”
This thought is the premise for Our Treasures Within. Intended for children four to nine, it is a stunningly-illustrated work which can be read alone or shared with friends or family.
Co-authors Peter and Paul Reynolds were inspired by Ignatian teaching, which encourages sharing one’s talents to help others to create a “beautiful world.” This mission became a calling for the twin brothers upon the Pope’s passing in 2025.
Whether it be sharing one’s gift of art, telling stories, or just smiling, “The more we give, the more the world fills with light.” Our Treasures Within by Pope Francis, Peter H. Reynolds, and Paul A. Reynolds, carries a beautiful message for these times. Children will love the words and drawings.
